Corey is one of the friendliest, silliest dogs you’ll ever meet! He’ll always greet you with a wagging tail and a big smile on his face. He’s proven himself to be quite popular with both the volunteers and the mutts. Corey may not be able to see too well, but he loves going out for his walks in the sunshine!
According to Corey’s foster mom – Corey is the BEST!! He is one of the cutest, mostly cuddly, most affectionate, most lovable mutt to ever have come through the door at Muttville! Corey came from southern California where he was transformed from a matted grey animal into a cute, fluffy white poodle mix. He loves squeaky toys, eating, running and not walking, other dogs, burying ONLY his head under a pillow or blanket with a squeaky toy, and sleeping with his person. He is extremely tolerant of handling for grooming, including his paws, teeth, and ears, and he’ll happily wear a cozy jacket or sweater should the weather call for outwear. Corey will bark to let you know that it’s dinner time, and he’ll happily sigh when you scratch his happy spot (which you will need to discover for yourself!). Corey would enjoy sharing a home with a doggy companion who might play and sleep with him, but he’ll also be happy as an only dog who can play with other pups at a (fenced in) dog park. An adopter with previous older dog experience would be ideal!
We think Corey is between 8-10 years young, weighing about 13 lbs.
