Bio: This is Coraline, which is a little formal so we call her Cora for short. She’s a dog who probably has not been handled very much in the past, even though she’s an adult. She will need a little time to get comfortable with leashes and harnesses, as well as strangers. But she’s coming around nicely with some staff and volunteers. Once she gets hooked up to a leash, Cora is a super-nice walker. She’s medium-energy and really likes getting exercise and sniffing around. She also passes other dogs politely, showing some mild interest but not being reactive in any way. Like many huskies, she appears to like to chase small animals like squirrels and birds. And huskies usually need secure yards. If you can offer that, plus some exercise with walks or runs, Cora might be your perfect companion. We will be so happy to see her blossom, once she finds her family and her new home.
