C is for Cookie—and C is also for for charming! Cookie Monster is an energetic, handsome black-and-tan Chihuahua mix with an adorable tan mask and hops that will make you smile. He definitely doesn’t act his age and brings full Sesame Street–level enthusiasm to everything he does. This sociable little guy loves people, attention, and being right in the middle of the action. Cookie Monster is always ready to bounce, play, and make new friends—sharing joy wherever he goes (cookies optional, but appreciated). If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep you laughing and on your toes, Cookie Monster is ready to move in and be your favorite snack-sized superstar.

Cookie Monster is a very cute, sweet, and funny boy who wants to be your best buddy! He seeks affection and loves to snuggle close anywhere you’ll have him, preferring to tuck himself close to your body over being held or sitting in laps. He sleeps through the night!
Cookie Monster is HIGHLY food motivated, literally jumping for joy at the prospect of treats or meals. He does an adorable bouncy dance in anticipation. He is a great eater!
He is learning to potty outside and thrives on frequent outdoor outings. Keeping an eye on him and learning his cues for needing to go is very helpful.
He is a zippy little dude on walks, eager to sniff everything, and trots along like a gentleman. He also navigates stairs like a champ, both up and down. He prefers to be handled with care as he can startle and get nervous when picked up. While he doesn’t love getting into the car (being lifted in), he loves riding with you in the car and often settles for a snooze. He gets along well with our bigger-than-him dog and is indifferent and calm when meeting other dogs on walks so far. He is comfy with our young teenager.
