Cookie Fleck

Cookie Fleck, an elegant poodle-terrier mix in slate-gray curls, arrived bearing the scars of a difficult sojourn as a stray. Blinded by an unknown trauma, she appeared to have every reason to be timid and mistrustful. Instead, she quickly relaxed into a warm bath of tender hospitality and revealed herself to be a serene and affectionate sweetheart, happy to be safe and loved. She is very fond of people, a friend to other dogs and partial to lap-based snuggling. She has the navigational skills for exploring and the energy to get out and about on leash. Her courage and resilience are clearly in the super-heroine range and her intelligence is obvious. She is a gift and also gracious. You deserve each other.
