Cola is such a good boy, and so handsome!
Cola has the personality of an IT support guy. He is helpful and friendly, and won’t call you names when you learn your computer’s not plugged in! He is a loveable, handsome golden retriever mix who would love to walk on the beach and jump in the ocean. He is also happy to sit at your feet and offer IT advice when you are feeling low or frustrated. Cola was born to be helpful. Cola is so deserving of love and will make a wonderful addition to any home. You just have to come meet this big boy!
Cola is estimated to be 10 years young and weighs 59 lbs.
HERE’S WHAT HIS FOSTER HAD TO SAY:
Remember that kid in high school who had everything going for him – that’s Cola! He’s the happy easygoing guy who gets along with everyone. Cola greets all people he meets with a big smile and a polite sniff. He sees dogs and gives a friendly nod to say “hey” but that’s it – no pulling or dramatic barking. He was once the star athlete, but now that he’s a little older he prefers long walks. He’s always up for something and he’s great on leash, too. And while he loves an outdoor adventure, he’s perfectly happy to be inside relaxing. He likes to hang out in his bed and watch funny movies and shows like “Parks and Rec”. He’s very well-mannered – he hasn’t had a single accident and we haven’t heard him bark once. That’s not to say he doesn’t have a voice, he does! When he finds a good spot to lay down, he’ll plop himself down with a satisfied grunt “this is a good spot”. When you leave the room he’ll ask “where are you going and when will you be back?”. And when he has to go out, he’ll say “come on, get your shoes on, I gotta go!”. When someone comes to the door, he’ll walk over and wait for you to open it so he can make a new friend. If you have always wanted to do more yoga, Cola is the dog for you. He loves his morning stretches – he says it keeps him young. Did I mention that he is devastatingly handsome? When we’re walking down the street or driving in the car, he definitely turns heads. Everyone loves his beautiful soft coat and winning smile. We have a large mirror and I often catch him admiring himself – he just can’t help it. He’s pretty much the perfect dog. The only thing Cola hasn’t quite mastered: “how to ride in a car”. He definitely likes sitting in the passenger seat, and has found more ways to sit in the car than I thought possible. But mostly he’ll sit facing you so he can engage you in a fun conversation, probably about what you have planned for his dinner (pssstt… he loves chicken!)
