Meet Cobe, a cute bundle of joy who’s living his best life as a senior pup! This sweet Shih-Tzu and Miniature Poodle mix is in fantastic shape for a senior and still loves to move around—whether it’s a playful romp at the dog park or just exploring his surroundings with his signature curiosity. Cobe’s gentle nature makes him a dream come true for families, and he’s great with both kids and other dogs. He’s also a treat connoisseur, taking his snacks oh-so-gently with his adorably cute nose that will melt your heart every time. Cobe is an easy-going, reliably potty-trained companion who’s always up for a cuddle or a little adventure. With his affectionate demeanor and endless love to give, Cobe is the perfect family dog—he’ll bring joy and happiness to every moment spent together.

Here’s some notes from his foster:

Cobe is great on leash. He likes 3-4 short walks a day but as he is a senior, he’s slow (and steady!). He likes to say hi to other doggies. When he has to go potty, he will actually stand at our deck door to go outside- which is GREAT. Most important- as soon as he wakes up in the morning and perks up- I take him out. He also knows how to go potty on walks! (whew!)

Cobe has a really good appetite and is always a member of the clean plate club! At first Cobe didn’t know how to use stairs but is a fast learner. With a little encouragement he has no issue on the stairs up and down our porch. It’s good to always be with him when conquering the stairs.

Absolutely fine with the cats- doesn’t bother them at all. They all enjoy sniffing each other and going on their way. Cats in turn seem to like him quite a bit as they haven’t run from him and he has never shown any aggression. I’m sure he’d be great with a kitty cat.

Likes to be with his person. He does prefer to stay close. I take him with me on car rides etc. and he’s a great co-pilot- just curls up and takes a nap. Also prefers to sleep in bed with his person. Needs assistance getting on and off the bed.
