Little Clove is the perfect little ingredient to spice up your life!

Clove is a very pretty little fawn colored girl with the cutest derp. She has been through a lot of change so she is a shy girl, but she is very, very sweet. She would love to have a new family that is quiet and patient. We know she will warm up quickly as she gets her footing. She does seem to enjoy being held and snuggles. Clove really loves other dogs too and will snuggle with anyone who wants to!

HERE’S WHAT CLOVE’S FOSTER HAS TO SAY!

Clove is a sweet and gentle little girl. She is currently quite timid as she navigates all the new changes in her life. She will let you pick her up and likes to be held but she will not seek out attention from you. She is quite happy retreating to her cozy den of pillows and blankets for alone time and she will occasionally explore beyond her safe space but will not go too far.

Clove loves to eat and especially loves fresh cooked chicken! She is very food motivated. She is not really potty trained but will likely pick up on new routines quickly with positive reinforcement and a bit of patience in the beginning.

She seems to appreciate being in a quiet, calm environment and can get scared around louder noises or sudden movements, I think she will get much better with this as she gains more confidence. When she gets scared, she does not bark, growl, or snap she just tries to quickly get to a small, safe place and is quite masterful at slipping out of her harness.

I’m seeing small progress every day and I’m certain she just needs a little time and encouragement to build her confidence. Clove is a beautiful little girl with soft fur and a cute little derp.

PUPDATE FROM CLOVE’S FOSTER MOM

Clove is doing really well! She just needed a few days to adjust to her new environment and has now made herself right at home, she is quite a love bug. She loves lap time, is always up for a good snuggle and she’ll show you her cute little belly for belly rubs. Occasionally she will even sneak in a quick kiss! She always keeps tabs on me when we are at home but is also okay being left alone while I go out. She has started to show her playful side which starts with a bow and a tail wag and then a little dance.

Clove can be timid in new situations but she is always polite and gentle. She has been really good meeting new people and new dogs but can get scared around loud noises and sudden movements. She does well walking for short distances on a leash but would rather be carried especially in loud, busy or new places so she’ll need some patience with this when she goes to her new home. She can do stairs and does really well in the car.
