Clarabelle is ready to be the belle of your (socially distanced) ball! She is a little on the shy side at first, but she warms up really quickly. She loves to lay around and love the lazy-layabout life. She is still quite agile for a senior gal, and would love to go on walks and can do stairs and jump up on the sofa on her own. She adores cuddling up next to her person and napping in the sunshine. She is such a gentle and sweet lady and anyone would be very lucky to call her their own. Clarabelle would love a quiet home, but still would enjoy going on adventures. She is very, very sweet and as cute as can be.
HERE’S WHAT HER FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
Clarabelle is the sweetest gal there ever was! She may be a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, in a matter of days, her tail wagging and excited spurts will melt your heart.
She’s potty trained, extremely quiet, small animal friendly, and does well in cars (especially if there’s a lap to sit on)! She may not do well with other dogs or small children as she shies away from them on walks, but give her a warm lap or pillow to cuddle up into, and she’ll be there.
She’s able to handle walks of different lengths and steepness and we generally take her out between 3-4 times a day.
We are working on her alone time but she’s making good progress. While we have yet to hear her bark, she is known to shed a few tears if she’s not asleep and is looking for a friend. This really only started after she got spayed, and I’d be pretty upset with a large cone blocking my vision and ability to walk straight too! She has already shown signs of improvement and we’re sure that with patience and proper alone time training she’ll do great.
