Ciara is a gorgeous black and tan long-haired chihuahua who firmly believes in the psychological benefits of a fun little treat. She sat patiently on your lap for cuddles? Treat. She looked pretty for her photo shoot? Treat. You want her to look at you for a video? Treat. Ciara is ready to treat herself at any opportunity, and she hopes to remind her new family that they deserve treats, too! Whether it be a stroll through the park, a midday nap, or a well-deserved snack, this princess will remind you of the importance of self-care. Ciara is sweet and friendly with other mutts, although sometimes a little shy, so she’s hoping to find a forever home where she can blossom. And, of course, be showered in treats!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
When I first picked up Ciara from Muttville she was timid and shy. She didn’t explore much just sat back and took everything in. Ciara woke me up at 6am. We went for a walk. She went potty after 20 minutes of sniffing. Two Aussies I know came to greet her; she said hi to one then wandered away. She’s more interested in sniffing than other dogs.
She’s friendly. Hopped up on me and gave me kisses. Likes to cuddle and present her belly for rubs. She’s a little jumpy on walks, calmer in parks than on busy streets. She’s a morning person. Comes out from under the bed at 6am sharp and rolls all over me.
Ciara went up 3 flights of stairs, no issues. She is super playful. I think she might like having an active companion dog. She is mouthy when she plays and nibbles on my hands. She is very polite and gives other dogs their space.
