Chowder, with his olde English beard, square jaw and intelligent eyes, is positively Dickensian, and so, dear readers, is his past. Brought to safety after years on the streets, this handsome terrier is a gentle hero whose trust in humans, dogs and cats is an inspiration. He is kindly, fit, up for a walk and happy to hang. Chowder is very gentle and sweet with his humans. He loves to play fetch. He can jump up and down on the couch by himself. He loves treats. He sleeps on the bed with me and barely moves or makes a sound. He prefers being with his humans than being left alone. I just love being his foster mom! He’s adorable!
