Meet Chocolate Chunk, the sweetest little morsel of love you’ll ever meet! This adorable girl is all about cuddles—she’d happily be your personal snuggle buddy all day long. She’s got a gentle heart, loves making doggy friends, and will happily trot alongside you for a quick jaunt around the block. Her favorite pastime? Curling up next to you and soaking up all the love. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who will melt into your arms, she’s the one for you!

Miss Chunk (she responds well to her original name Coco!) is a very sweet and special little girl! She is a little shy initially and will give a little shriek and back away if overwhelmed but quickly became trusting and rolled over for belly rubs once she felt safe. She settled into the car immediately and snuggled in for the short trip home. I think she’ll do great on car trips!
Once she felt settled, she was very sweet and quite playful with me! She loves attention but also enjoys exploring independently and checked out every inch of my apartment in the first few minutes. She also settles in for quiet time easily if you’re focused elsewhere. I think older respectful children (10+) will be ok for her but she isn’t a fan of hands coming at her quickly so I think small kids will be too much for her.
She is a GREAT walker, confident and curious! She keeps a nice, peppy pace but also loves to stop and ‘smell the roses’ along the way. She will benefit from frequent and longer walks and/or a nice outside space to explore throughout the day. She was curious about but ignored other dogs we saw along the way and she stopped to say hello to people we passed.
She is very food/treat motivated and is an excellent eater! She is smart and would likely be easily trainable with her love for treats! She seems to be potty trained (no accidents with regular walks!) and slept through the night with no issues in her pop-up condo. At bedtime, I gave her a Greenie chew and she went right into the condo, settled in quickly and slept all night! We went out for a quick morning walk around 7:30am and she did her business right away.
Her cuteness got a lot of looks on our walks and her bright confidence is infectious! Chocolate Chunk is a sweet and spry young senior who is ready to explore the world with you!
