Chihuahua
Male
X-small (under 6 lbs)
Status: Adopted

Chip may be the smallest ever resident of Muttville! Weighing in at 2.2 pounds, this adorable boy was found as a stray in Bakersfield. He has great manners, and is reported by his previous foster guardian to have good housetraining ability. This delicate guy is quiet, easy-going, and loves to meet new people and be held. One minute with this tiny chi in your arms and you’ll never want to let go! He’s looking for a gentle and loving new family to call his own.

Chip is about 12 years young and weighs about 2 ½ pounds.

Check out what Chip’s foster has to say about him:

Chip is a delightful little guy, very gentle and super mellow. He is most comfortable on a lap, tucked in a hoodie or wrapped in a blanket in his carrier! Chip is not an active guy – he is extremely tiny and even when he runs, walking him requires moving very slow. He tends to peter out after about a block or so! I have 7 other dogs in the house currently of all sizes, ages and breeds and Chip is completely at ease. He is taken out about every 2 hours. He sleeps in a crate at night very soundly and no accidents so far. Chip loves to eat and does an adorable little tap dance when food is happening! He loves being swaddled into anything! Chip would make a great office dog or traveling companion, loves to snuggle and sleep all day.
