Chico is a miniature schnauzer-poodle mix (@15 lbs, 8 years old) that was rescued from the streets of Tijuana then adopted by an older couple in the Bay Area.
They spent lots on training Chico and he became a pretty good dog, just some issues with potty training and growling when others are near his toys and food.
The owner is 96 years old now and broke his hip and we have been fostering Chico since his owner went into the hospital. Chico gets along with our dogs, sleeps on our bed at night, and tries to be a good boy. We are used to training and caring for dogs and recommend that Chico be with someone who can be attentive to his needs (not left alone a lot), provide opportunities to go potty, get daily walks, and in general reinforce positive behavior.
We haven’t had Chico around children, but he is very playful, does zoomies after his walks, and seems to warm up to people pretty well. He is up to date on all vaccines, chipped, and ready to go.
This is a courtesy post. Chico!! is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Chico!! and want to learn more about him, please contact: allieneturner@comcast.net.
