Bouncy Chestnut has pep for days! Does he know he’s a senior? We don’t think so! He’s a puppy at heart with a zest for play. Did we mention he’s super cute? And check out his gorgeous highlights! Chestnut loves other dogs, especially if they’re willing to play. He can’t wait to find his home for the holidays (and forever)!
HERE’S WHAT HIS FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
I’ve been fostering Chestnut for only a few days but he has already blossomed into the sweetest dog! His beautiful tail is always wagging when greeting strangers and other dogs.
He is very energetic for 13! Our morning 6 block walk goes quickly as he struts along the sidewalk. He loves walking, checking out all the trees along the way. If I move in the house, he moves. No sneaking to a different room. He is right there at your feet. He sleeps tight to my side at night and enjoys napping with me during the day.
I found out quickly that he enjoys toys! He found an orange ball he likes the best. He is a good eater and so far, not fussy. He runs in circles when I’m fixing his meals or when he sees we are going out.
Today I left him alone for the first time. Didn’t hear any noise from him this morning but later today when I left he started barking. I went to the door and said "stop and he did. I was only gone a couple of hours each time.
He does like to lie in your lap or beside you in the chair. When he has enough he’ll get on the couch or dog bed.
He will make someone a great companion!
