Chester is an 11 or 12 year old neutered male. He was adopted from Oakland animal services after he was there for more than a year. He lived with his adopter and her other dog, Lucky for 9 years until Lucky passed. He is a medium-sized mutt who some suspect is part chihuahua. He was under the excellent care of Noble Vet while he lived with his adopter. His owner is in the late stages of cancer and would love to see Chester in a new home as soon as possible.
He loves snacks, cuddling and walks in nature but since going totally blind in the last year is more anxious of new places and people so it may take a little bit for him to warm up. Snacks always win his heart. Once he knows he’s safe, there’s no limit to his loyalty and love.
His ideal forever home would be with a retired person or someone who works from home.
This is a courtesy post. Chester Chowder is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Chester Chowder and want to learn more about him, please contact: yolanda@yolodoggo.com.
