Chely is a kissy kisser extraordinaire! She loves a lap, especially because it’ll get her closer to your face for smooching. It’s also a great place for snoozing (Chely snores adorably). This chi darling is sweet, petite and has a cuteness that can’t be beat!

HERE’S WHAT CHELY’S FOSTER MOM HAS TO SAY!

The first thing you need to know about Chely is that she loves to cuddle! She also loves hugs and kisses, warm temperatures, and sleeping on a cozy bed surrounded by people and blankets. If you prefer to keep a separate pet bed, make sure she is surrounded by blankets to snuggle under.

For the first few days, you might notice heavy snoring while sleeping and her eyes open while she is snoring, but that will mostly be because she is nervous to be in the new environment.

With the right amount of love and care, she will quickly start trusting her surroundings and start sleeping peacefully in her cozy bed. You will quickly notice that she is very obedient and follows the basic commands like ‘come’, ‘up’, ‘No’, etc!

Chely loves to walk in the afternoons when the sun is shining bright but not as much on the colder days. If you are working from home, she will demand to sit with you on the chair and monitor all your activities. She prefers to be fed three times a day, mostly canned food but now and then, enjoys some cooked rice as well. It is a little tricky to make her drink water, so you might have to flavor the water by putting a teaspoon of milk or a little chicken broth in front of her in the water.

She is great with other people and mostly ignores other dogs, but it really depends on her mood. She does like chasing away birds if she spots one during the afternoon walks. She is well potty trained and prefers doing her business in the morning, and sometimes after dinner or at night. Complete house training is work in progress, but she is getting better with time. It is recommended to take her on small dog walks every 3-4 hours.
