Chelsea is sure to steal your heart!!

We just cannot believe that Chelsea is homeless! She was found in Stockton as a stray and no one ever came to claim her. She is a beautiful yellow lab and sweet as can be! She loves to greet everyone quietly and is so polite. She likes to go on little strolls and sniff all the smells along the way. Chelsea truly is as nice as they come and we know she won’t last long at all. Fill out an application for this beauty today!

Chelsea is 10 years young and weighs 84 lbs.

Check out what Chelsea’s foster has to say about this sweet gal:

Chelsea is a sweet & loving lady, with quite a lot of spunk & mischief left in her old bones. Her top 3 favorite things are medium length walks on the beach, starchy food like tortillas & when you pet her t-zone (snout & between her eyes). She loves pets & attention & will come nuzzle her face into your hand when you sit down, but she is also perfectly happy to nap near you while you focus on other things. She doesn’t mind being left alone in the house for a few hours, but is always happy when you come home. It would be hard to find a lower maintenance or more loving companion than Chelsea. She loves to mingle with other dogs & introduce herself to all the children she passes on the street. She likes her walks & can go for a couple miles without stopping. When you take her to the beach she chases balls & wades in the waves. When she gets home from such an adventure, she sleeps deeply & wiggles her paws, dreaming about all new friends she made. Chelsea is great with dogs of all sizes. She likes to meet them, but doesn’t mind when you tell her it’s time to go. I’ve never heard her bark. She is perfectly house-trained. In fact, she is perfectly happy to lounge all morning until you’re ready to take her out. Chelsea loves cushioned surfaces, particularly human beds. However she is unable to jump onto things higher than a foot and a half. Therefore she hasn’t gotten on our bed ever, but patiently waits until our roommate forgets to close her door & then takes her chance to enjoy sweet human luxury. She happily sleeps on her own bed at the foot of ours every night & would sleep until noon if we didn’t rudely awaken her with breakfast. Chelsea is quite judicious with her kisses, giving them only on special occasions. However while she is not a big giver of kisses she is quite a fan of receiving them on & around her face. Also, every once in a while she’ll throw you a cheeky wink.
