Meet Chauncey, the happiest mutt on the block! He’s got zoomies for days, a wagging tail that never stops, and a smile so bright it could light up the room. Play fetch? YES, PLEASE. Chase squeaky toys? SIGN HIM UP. Chauncey also can turn into the chillest cuddle bug ever. He’ll flop right next to you, let out a happy sigh, and soak up all the love. If you’re looking for a best buddy who can keep up with your fun AND your naps, Chauncey’s your guy!

The first night Chauncey was feeling anxious and pacing a bit. It’s totally understandable, given his recent surgery and the new environment. But the second night was a total win—once we let him snuggle up in bed with us, he slept soundly all night!
Chauncey is an absolute sweetheart—he’s the biggest love bug you could imagine. He adores cuddles and will happily follow you around the house, greeting everyone with a wagging tail. He’s incredibly friendly and adjusts quickly to new people, making friends with everyone he meets. We’ve never seen such a happy, affectionate dog! He gets along great with both men and women and has a nice amount of energy—he handled a 20-minute walk with some light hills like a champ. For having had two major surgeries just days ago, he’s a real trooper! He’s got a great appetite and an even better spirit.
His remaining eye has limited visibility, though it’s a little hard to fully assess because of the large cone he’s wearing.
We already miss him and can’t wait to pick him up! He’s truly one special dog, and we’re lucky to have him for these few days.
