Charlotte is a mutt like no other. Is she a dachshund? A Frenchie? A chihuahua? Could her face be any cuter or more expressive? Could she be any softer or more perfect? This little lady will be quite a conversation piece. Get ready for people to try and guess what she is – and you can tell them she is 100% your dog.
Here’s a note from her foster:
The question has been asked: what is Charlotte? Since welcoming her as a foster, we have endeavored to answer this question that has flummoxed mutt enthusiasts worldwide. But after just a few days, we are able to make, with a high degree of confidence, some preliminary conclusions. Here are the results…
It turns out Charlotte is just a mutt that:
- Loves booty skritches and belly rubs
- Gives sweet, gentle kisses
- Excels at (cutely!) begging for treats
- Gets along well with other dogs
- Enjoys little strolls in the neighborhood
- Takes long naps during the day
- Is super soft and cuddly
I am pretty sure Charlotte would love someone who lets her on the couch for a good snuggle. Thankfully, she does love her dog bed, and is even sweet enough to let us give her a cuddle in her bed. She also likes sitting on my lap when I am on the floor with her. She is not excessively needy and is also happy to do her own thing and sleep on her bed by herself.
Charlotte does ok on stairs. We have four of them leading up to our house and, although she is sometimes a little cautious, she has no problem going up and down on her own once she commits to it. When she acts cautiously, we do not think it is because she is limited physically, as she is perfectly capable of jumping up on our couch and bed then jumping off when we tell her she is not allowed.
Charlotte has had no issues with any other dogs or humans we have met. We have been watching a friend’s dog and there have been no issues.
Oh, what kind of breed is Charlotte? Our guess is a mix between a super mutt and a gremlin!
