The first time we heard about Charlize she was on red alert and needed emergency medical assistance.
WE had to make that decision to save her swiftly. You can see her sad shelter photo, we said YES! AND GET HER TO THE VET PRONTO! She was very sick and stayed in ISO at the clinic for 4 days. she was starved, neglected beyond belief and had a fever.
NO looking back for Charlize, though. she has turned from a frail little wallflower to the wiggly, happy girl she needed to be!
This dog is amazing, she has changed completely, no more sad eyes… she weighs 40 pounds and is about 7 years old. She loves everyone and is gentle as can be.
She is being fostered in Southern CA at this time and her foster mom can’t believe how bright and joyous she is.
