Sporting a jaunty blue bandana and ready to show his good side, you’d never know that Charlie Barkin arrived at Muttville in rough shape! Our grooming team saw the dapper fashionista that lay within and helped Charlie achieve his style goals. Well, he has to take your word for it, as this sweet senior is vision impaired and sadly cannot gaze upon his handsome reflection. Which is a shame, because Charlie Barkin is an absolutely adorable teeny tiny Yorkie! One thing about Charlie is that he’s not one to let something as trivial as limited vision get him down-he navigates his way through the world just fine and can even see himself in his forever home. If you can see it too, Charlie would love for you to tell him about it!

Charlie Barkin, who has yet to actually bark, is the sweetest little guy. He’s basically a teddy bear with a pulse and would happily spend all day snuggled beside you or tucked into bed under the covers.
Charlie is blind and very low energy, so he’s looking for a quiet, calm home where he can feel safe and enjoy the cozy life. He can be nervous around new people, but he doesn’t mind being carried and warms up with patience and treats!
He has done well with my dogs and is comfortable sharing space with them, although he doesn’t really interact or try to play with them. He also does well when left alone. Charlie sleeps peacefully by my side all night and greets me with tiny kisses and the sweetest little tail wag. He isn’t looking for a life full of adventure. He’s looking for a warm lap, a cozy bed, and someone who will appreciate his gentle companionship.
