Hello Chani! Goodbye heart! When this wee charmer bops in the room, all hearts are aflutter. She’s far too scrumptious to believe!
Chani is a teeny ball of joy, bouncing around and spreading joy everywhere she goes. She’s a social butterfly with both people and other dogs and has plenty of pep. Chani can’t wait to meet you!
Here is what her foster has to say!
Chani is too cute for words! This sweet and petite little lady has adjusted well to our household. She is getting along pretty well with my dogs, and is becoming more respectful of my cat. (She was originally a little too curious and didn’t give my cat the distance he needed, but after a few days she’s definitely being more respectful with my cat’s boundaries.) Chani has been eating really well and has been sleeping through the night. She had a couple of accidents at the very start, but her house training skills have completely kicked in now. Although she doesn’t have to do her business too frequently, we give her many opportunities to go outside since she’s a senior dog. She’s pretty good on a leash, but she does not like long walks-especially if it’s hot.
Chani bonded to us very quickly, but she can be a bit frantic when she doesn’t know where we are. Even when she is napping, if I get up to go to another room, she frantically gets up and runs around the house trying to find me. And though she sleeps through the night, she has to be right next to us in order to do so. Chani will bark at people outside our window, and when people ring our doorbell, but she does respond when we tell her to stop.
