Meet Chance – The Sweetest Soul Looking for a Forever Home
Chance has had a rough road, but he hasn’t let it harden his heart. This sweet 8.5-year-old German Shepherd mix—possibly with a touch of Corgi—was left behind when his family moved to an apartment that didn’t allow dogs. Through no fault of his own, Chance found himself abandoned, confused, and alone.
His situation became dire when he landed in an overcrowded shelter in Merced County, where he was heartbreakingly placed on the euthanasia list. But Chance was given a second chance—his name couldn’t be more fitting!
Now, he’s looking for a family that won’t leave him behind. Chance is a gentle, loving soul who gets along with dogs of all sizes and adores people.
He’s potty trained and knows his basic commands like “sit,” “down,” and “give paw.” I have never heard him bark. He is very affectionate and a great cuddler. He just wants pets – and he won’t hesitate to tell you! He will paw at you or stick his head in your hand when he wants attention. He weighs approx 66 lbs and is neutered.
If you’re looking for a loyal, well-mannered companion who will love you with all his heart, Chance is waiting for you. This is a courtesy post. Chance the German Shepherd is not a Muttville dog.
