Champ is the sweetest guy that looks like a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Champ comes to us from Solano county, part of a group of dogs that needed to be evacuated due to the Atlas fire disaster. He is a polite gentleman who loves meeting new people. This guy will lovingly get your attention for some scratches behind the ears. He is good with other dogs and is an all around friendly pup. Oh, Champ, what’s not to love about him? He is the perfect mutt and has already brought so much joy to our lives!
He loves short walks and when he is out and about, he thrives on his dazzling sense of smell. When it is too cold or if it is raining, he will get right down to business and head back home.
When he is home, Champ lounges and sleeps on his small bed. Sometimes he paws his way to a comfortable sleeping position by building a small cave with his blanket; he feels warmer and can sleep for hours that way.
Champ is perfectly content chilling on our laps, snuggling with humans, and absolutely loves belly rubs! He has great appetite and hasn’t had an accident at home. He has never barked
during the time he’s been with us, not even once!
