Cedar Belle is a petite white-and-brown Chihuahua with a gentle spirit and a shy little smile. Like a young sapling, she takes a bit of time to put down roots in new places, but with patience and kindness she begins to branch out and show her sweet personality. Cedar Belle leans into affection and companionship – the kind of pup who makes a home feel grounded and peaceful. Cedar Belle is a sweet, gentle, quiet lady. She seems potty trained. She doesn’t love the act of leaving the apartment, but once outside, she loves to be outside and enjoys her walk. She’s great on leash, loves to smell, and takes her time. She’s a little nervous in cars and prefers to sit in someone’s lap. She’s accompanied us on many errands, like furniture shopping, watching my niece play flag football, and a park day. We’ve also left her alone for 30 minutes at a time, and she doesn’t make a peep. She primarily sleeps when we’ve been gone.
We’ve only heard her bark once, it was when a friend came over, but she hasn’t barked at any other guests, and is very friendly. We’ve spent time with kids from 9 months to 10 years old. She’s very tolerant and friendly with kids.
She gets very excited for her meals and has been sleeping through the night in her own bed. She doesn’t like stairs but will walk down a step or 2 and the little couch stairs we have for to get onto the couch. Otherwise, she prefers to be carried.
Cedar Belle has been the sweetest house guest.
