Cece is a soulful Shar Pei with soft eyes and a gentle heart, ready for a fresh start. This gal moves through the world at her own thoughtful pace, taking comfort in quiet moments and kind company. She’s lived well with other dogs and appreciates calm, respectful companions. Cece especially loves her sniff walks, taking in the world one scent at a time like a true connoisseur. Tender, steady, and quietly loving, she’s ready to land somewhere safe where she can rest, heal, and be cherished.

Cece is a gentle, sweet-natured pup who just needs a little time to feel at home. Like many dogs, she can take a couple of days to adjust to a new environment—during that time you may notice a bit of pacing as she settles in. But by day two or three, her personality really starts to shine. Once she’s comfortable, she relaxes easily and enjoys being around her people, especially if it means getting some well-earned pets and attention.
She’s done wonderfully with other dogs, both on walks and with a small dog in the home, showing a calm and friendly demeanor. Cece quickly learned how to navigate stairs and absolutely loves going on “sniff walks,” taking in the world at her own pace. While she currently prefers to use the yard for bathroom breaks rather than going on walks, she’s otherwise very easygoing. She’s not particularly interested in toys, but what she lacks in playfulness she makes up for in calm demeanor and companionship.
Cece would thrive in a quieter household where she can continue to build confidence and be the loving, loyal companion she’s meant to be.
