Sweet, shy Cauliflower is a little nervous right now because where is she? What’s going on? Who are you? But before you know it she’ll crack your heart wide open, scamper inside, make herself comfortable, and hang up a Home Sweet Home sign on your ribs. Cauliflower would love to live in a house with fellow adults so she can get alllll the attention please and thank you!

Here’s a note from her foster:

She has been progressing really nicely. now that she’s been with me for sometime, she definitely has shown lots of signs of trust. instead of staying far away from me, but keeping me in eyesight, she now sits right next to me on the couch or at my desk.

Previously, she was sleeping downstairs on the couch at night, but just last night, she came up on her own, and snuggled on the bed! She will sometimes use a pee pads, and she’s generally pretty good about holding her poop until we go for walks!

She is such a sweet, quiet, and opposite-of-needy soul. She just wants a comfy place to rest or burrow underneath (see pics), or she’s ready to go for a walk – in fact, she did a steep uphill hike with me with no complaints!

She’s a great eater despite having few teeth, and does very little begging (though I may be spoiling her too much, so she’s starting to pick up on some habits…)

She gets along great with my dog, and has shown zero aggression towards him, me, or any dog we’ve encountered on walks. She does show some anxiety in more social situations – I took her to the office, and she was very uneasy and cried nonstop, so it seems like she prefers staying in her quiet, comfy zone.

Cauliflower is getting more comfortable each day and she is blossoming into a wonderful little pup!
