Catalina the Boston Terrier is wicked pissah! She’s so sweet and gentle with chowdaheads of all ages and gets along with all the doglets, too. Catalina takes her time to navigate stairs, what with that one eye that doesn’t work so well, but she gets the job done. If you love being greeted by the sound of gentle snorts on a cozy winter morning, this is definitely the very good girl for you.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
She proves how great she is every day! Catalina does the 1 mile leisurely Sunday walk to the coffee shop with me and Shadow no problems without being asked to be picked up at all. She attracts all sorts of good attention from people, occasionally going out of her way to meet new friends herself.
She is good with most dogs, but occasionally, I think because of the bad depth perception, she’ll run up and bonk into another dog. and with bigger dogs…She doesn’t let 50lbs difference in size worry her at all.
Treats are an excellent motivator for her cleverness. I’m sticking with pumpkin treats as much as I can to try to even out her digestion issues and also she could still stand to gain some weight. She’s learned sitting for treats pretty well and I’m sure a “sit-pretty” is an easy step forward. She definitely knows her name and will come or at least pay attention when you say it.
Whomever decides to welcome her home better be ready for an A+ snuggler. Whatever else is going on, she insists on being pressed against a person as she sleeps. The loud snoring is still very cute.
