Cassie, a short-long chi in what looks like a mint-condition thrifted mink coat, is 100% gal. Smarter than everybody, too cool to boast, she struts around looking for fun and staying out of trouble. Her youthful play bow and sassy waddle enchant fellow canines; humans are wowed by her manners, good old-fashioned know-how and complete lack of drama. We all love her smile and value her opinion. Take her home for love, kisses and teachable moments.

We took Cassie out front very frequently for pee breaks. She looked really happy in her last days with use and she loved our dog and to play with Cheddar, our pitbull mix, and go for walks with him.
After several days, she had a good appetite and was able to eat on her own from the bowl.
I usually fed her in the crate or behind a baby gate next to my dog. She absolutely loves our dog. She was fine with him from the beginning, but she also tends to sniff dogs intensely at first.
Cassie loves her walks and she really seems to like older kids. She tends to bark at people on walks occasionally to let them know "I am here!, but she is happy to meet new people and get pets. She seems to really LOVE children. We introduced her to our neighbors 5 and 7 years old girls, and the other neighbor 9 and 11 years old kids and she loved them. She wanted to move in with them. LOL we think he was familiar with kids, like perhaps she was introduced to kids before arriving in the shelter system.
She listens well in the house and just by pointing the fingers/amrs "Go on your bed she will happily trot on her bed. She loves to please her humans and gives amazing eye-contact on walks. I bring my dog pouch with treats and she learned quickly that if she does not greet people with a bark but just looks at me, she will get a Charlie Bear treat!
She is very sweet and just chills all day, with the occasional short play session with our dog, and short walks around the block. We are so happy she is with Muttville and we hope to see updates posted soon on your social media page.
