If you haven’t already heard, it’s talent show week at Muttville and our grand prize winners might be taking home a Cash Prize! Now, this prize is measured in tail wags and licks instead of dollars, but we think that makes it all the more enticing! Cash Prize is a gray and white mutt chock full of poodle-y goodness, so if you’re looking for a soft mutt in need of some scritches, we have just the gentlepup for you! Cash Prize has been saving up 11 years worth of love to bestow on his new forever family, so it looks like they will be quite the winners! Here’s some notes from his foster:
Cash is a handsome little Schnauzer (Schnoodle?) with a gentle and loving spirit. Although Cash is vision impaired, he trots around with his nose and ears on high alert and gets where he needs to be. If his environment gets a little overwhelming, it’s important to make sure he has a calm and quiet area he can go to decompress for a little while.
He gets along well with other dogs, but does have boundaries he likes to have respected such as other dogs not getting too close to his face, not being woken up suddenly, and other dogs rough housing near him stresses him out-he will often show his teeth in those situations and will need a little time in his calm space (in my house his space is inside the toy basket.
Cash loves going on walks- he stops to sniff a lot in the beginning of his walks, but once he gets that out of his system he walks right by your side at whatever pace you’re
going.
This good boy loves to cuddle up with you all night, has a great appetite, is making huge amounts of progress on his potty training in only a few days, loves all people he has met, is an expert napper and is such a fun companion to have around. Cash will thrive in a home (with or without other dogs) with lots of love and extra patience while he settles into him new home and routine,
