Meet Caro, the friendliest Basset Hound in town, with a smile that can turn any frown. With ears that hang low and waddle to and fro, her gorgeousness steals the show. She likes to gaze and come near, spreading joy and wagging cheer.
With a nose that sniffs adventure in the air, she’s ready for love, kind and rare.In a houndy dance, a charming prance, Caro’s love is an enchanting trance. Adopt Caro, the joy-bringing hound, and let her love in your heart be found. In the waddle of joy and the ears that flow, she’s ready to make your home a cozy glow!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Caro has been with us since Monday evening and has been a joy to foster.
She’s a great eater (loves meal time!) and gets very excited whenever someone grabs a leash. We’ve only been walking her around the block, and that seems to be enough for her. And we have six stairs from our front door to the sidewalk and she’s navigated them (both up and down) with no problem at all.
Caro is also a great sleeper (has been sleeping through the night, and during the day has two or three spots in our home where she’ll nap. She also has shown no separation anxiety when I’ve had to leave the house for a few hours (3+ hours).
And while she needs some help getting into a car, once in there, she’s a great passenger…settles down and just enjoys the ride (but once the car goes into park, she knows and will start “talking” to you about getting out).
We currently have two other Muttville pups in our pack and while she knows they’re there, she hasn’t shown much interest in engaging with them, so we feel she’d do fine in a home with other dogs. Our 8-year old nephew also has spent some time with her, and she appears to do well with kids too.
