Carmen, Carmen, Carmen!

This beautiful girl is so ready for a new start in your home. She gets along well with other dogs and is a really big love.

Here’s what her foster has to say:

Carmen is a lover. She loves to snuggle. She loves to follow you around. But what she really loves most is to nap with you.

This girl is loyal. As soon as she decides you belong to her, she’ll be your silent shadow. She will gaze lovingly into your eyes every chance she gets. She’ll be at your side through it all (though riding in cars is a little upsetting). Win delicate kisses from her by stroking her beautiful salt & pepper fur. You can brush or massage her all day.

She is very well house trained! She’ll sometimes wait a few hours to eat if she doesn’t like what is in her dish, but has eventually eaten everything we’ve given her (if it is soft enough for her tender mouth). Carmen will do as you wish: medication, riding in a dog carrier, getting dressed or undressed… if you want her to do it, she won’t resist.

Everyone loves her squeaky snooter (dental work should make it easier for her to breathe). But aside from her very expressive nose noises, she never makes a sound! She is perky on walks around the block and loves to snuffle. People on the street will stop you because she is such a pretty little silver fox. She is polite and usually says hello, though it might take some coaxing.

Carmen is kind, gentle, affectionate, and one of the calmest, sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet.
