Carly is a soft and gentle doxie delight! Her coat and personality are equally soft, which is very. Carly is the sweetest lady we have ever fostered! She is mostly house trained as long as a routine is maintained and she shows absolutely no aggression toward any other dogs, toys or food.
Her favorite thing is FOOD! and she will let you know it! She is generally very quiet and calm until you start making her food, then she will bark bark bark to say “hurry up already”!! She loves to go for short walks around the block and she’s great on leash. Mostly she loves napping, hanging out on the couch and snoozin’ the day away.
Carly is very independent and she isn’t a fan of being overly handled or picked up, though sometimes she will ask for a lift if she cannot jump up on the bed herself. She likes to be pet gently and LOVES to give kisses. She can do minimal stairs, but due to her super short legs (hello Dachshund!) we mostly carry her up and down.
