Cappy is ready to find his perfect match! In his last home Cappy received lots of lap time and a few too many meals. He would love to go to a home that can help him shed some of his extra weight just in time for summer! He’s fantastic on leash and always ready for a stroll in the sunshine. We think Cappy will make a great addition to any mellow home.
Cappy is around 13 years young, currently weighing around 20 lbs.

Cappy is a sweet mellow guy who gets along with everyone. He is a good eater, sleeps through the night & seems fine when left alone. I have only had him a short time, but he warmed up quickly & seems relaxed & at ease. Cappy’s activity level is moderate. He is happy to spend most of his time napping, but is good on a leash & enjoys his walks. He also likes being outside exploring the yard. He is fine with other dogs. If another dog barks at him, he is more likely to walk away than react. I have not seen Cappy exhibit any sensitivities or fears. He was a bit hesitant at first but quickly became comfortable in my house. Cappy does his business outside & has not had any accidents in the house,Cappy is a pretty easy dog to have around. I have not heard him bark, except softly in his sleep when he is dreaming of running. When you talk to him, he watches you intently, hanging on every word! Who else does that?
