Cadence

If you glimpse Cadence out of the corner of your eye, you might mistake her for a mini-lion, because she has glorious golden fur, a splendid mane surrounding her face, which is delicately frosted with white, and the tiniest tuft at the tip of her tail. We think she’s just getting ready for Halloween a little early and working on the perfect costume, and, honestly, she nailed it. Luckily, this lovely lady is a bit milder than your typical lion, with a sweet disposition that endears her both to our other volunteers and her canine companions. Despite her leonine looks, Cadence is a long-hair chihuahua who weighs in at a slim 11 pounds, so she’s perfect if you’re looking for a smaller senior to light up your life. She’s not a marathoner, but willing to go for walks with a jauntier air than you might expect from a 9-year-old, but what mini-lion wouldn’t enjoy a nice sniffari? Cadence is the sweetest girl with an adorable face, and we couldn’t be happier that she has found her way to Muttville.
