Butterscotch is your golden ticket!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Butterscotch is exactly like her namesake. Classic and Sweet! This little lady is just 8 year and old has stolen everyone’s heart! On the first day we picked her up from Muttville’s she was a smidge shy and slightly timid. But the very next day she was open and ready to accept all the love!
When Butterscotch finds her person, she will want to stick with them like a shadow. She will follow into the bathroom into the kitchen and will make tiny cries if she cannot get to you (you’re on a bed and she’s on the floor) with those eyes it’s impossible to say no, so she sleeps with me on the bed burrowed at the feet. She is able to do stairs both up and down,
Butterscotch LOVES going on walks, and has good stamina. she’s great on leash and doesn’t pull. She is friendly to all humans though and hasn’t shown any signs of aggression. She is staying with me, my husband and my dog and they have had zero issues. When going on walks or the park if she sees another dog she will bark at them until you allow her to meet the other dog. She doesn’t like to be startled by other dogs and likes to take it at her own pace.
She is 100% potty trained as long as you keep a good schedule. Currently we go for a walks at 8am, 1pm, 5pm 9pm.She is also pee pad trained and if you are off your routine she will still maintain hygiene practices and use the pottypad. She loves back and head scratches! She doesn’t love to be picked up unless she’s asking you to pick her up, but either way she tolerates it. She loves to take long naps on the couch while I work from home.
She doesn’t get into anything or chew anything up. Her temperament and energy levels are mild but pretty good stamina!! She truly enjoys long walks. Mostly she doesn’t care what you do, she is just pleased to be near you and touching. I have left her home alone (with my dog) for around 2 hours and she walked around and then surprisingly settled on the dog bed.
She’s a well rounded good girl who would love a second chance to find a new home.
