Oh precious Butterbean!

This little girl came to us as a tripod but she still loves getting out to sniff the grass. She is an absolute sweetie and is looking for a loving home for her final chapter.

Here’s a note from her foster!

Butterbean is very calm and goes with the flow. She is gracefully navigating all of the changes in her life and likes to take things at a slower pace.

She’s quite happy finding a soft place to take a nap, is always up for a good snuggle session and when she looks up at you with her big brown eyes it is heart-melting. Occasionally she will come and find me and lean against my leg to make sure I haven’t forgotten about her. She is very quiet but will talk to me in a low volume whimper/whine when she needs something.

Miss Butterbean is great with her food and has no problems taking her meds. She is potty trained, can hold it until it’s time to go, but will need some patience working through communication and routine when she gets to her new home. She will go to bed when the lights go out and will stay there until the morning. She appreciates some assistance in the morning and will wait until you are ready to start the day with her.

Butterbean becomes more active and interactive as the day progresses, she is quite mobile in the home but needs an environment without a lot of obstacles because she is a bit wobbly, especially in the morning. She is not as confident outside and likes to be carried or ride in a stroller but she is always pleasant when meeting new people and dogs.
