Bunny was my foster failure. She came from the puppy mills in China and was very shut down but came to trust and open up. Her skin was an issue from the beginning and at times I was able to get it under control but it flares and requires vet visits that have become more than I can handle. She recently had a full blood work panel and the results were great!
The vet also said she needs medicated baths 2-3 times a week.
Bunny’s age is approximately 7. She is dog friendly (never tested w cats) mostly ignores dogs. She’s very lazy and loves to just lay in the sun. She can only do some stairs, won’t even attempt steep stairs or couches or beds. She’s very independent, no separation anxiety.
She’s good with kids and used to kids running around all the time. She is stubborn and won’t walk on leash. I take her on walks and she just follows but obviously leash is ideal but she pumps the brakes and won’t walk! She loves the beach and very easy hikes. She’s also happy to just be home with you. I’m posting pics of her skin when her coat was healthy and how it is now. I think allergy testing would be ideal for her or maybe a holistic vet. I have done regular vets with all the meds and it will get better with that but that is an expense I cannot keep up at this point.
She is looking for a new home with a family who will adore her and have time to give her the love and care she deserves. she has been through a lot.
This is a courtesy post. Bunny! is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Bunny! and want to learn more about her, please contact: sflegup@gmail.com.
