Everyone who meets Bubba is drawn in by his soulful eyes. He’s calm, trusting, loyal, and incredibly easy to love. His gaze is deep and gentle, and his kisses soft.
Bubba enjoys slow walks and strolls beautifully on leash. He’s a little hard of hearing, so when occasionally you’ll need to walk slightly ahead of him to guide him along. Most of the time, though, it isn’t necessary as his eyes are usually fixed on his person.
He loves sitting on your feet or climbing into your lap to let you know how grateful he is for your company. When he’s thirsty, he’ll quietly climb onto the hard plastic mat in the kitchen, and you’ll hear the gentle tap of his nails as if he’s politely calling the bartender. It’s one of his many endearing little habits.
One of Bubba’s favorite things is finding a patch of grass where he can roll onto his back, scratch away, and lay out peacefully in the sunshine.
Bubba is almost midway through treatment for B-cell lymphoma. He is responding remarkably well to treatment. We like to note that bubba has a lifetime medical sponsor for his lymphoma.
Everyone says how handsome he is. And we like to ensure he hears that every day. even his treatment recap notes say he “continues to be super handsome.”
What Bubba needs now is someone who loves him as deeply as he loves the world around him. He doesn’t ask for much. Just love.
