Hubba hubba, get a load of Bubba! So soft and handsome!
Bubba is a happy go lucky guy who doesn’t let his vision impairment keep him down. There are too many smells to enjoy and people and dogs to meet! You don’t need perfect vision to get pets and cuddles or make new friends (canine and human). Meet Bubba and fall in love!

Bubba is a wonderful, easygoing ball of fuzz! He’s a sweet, gentle boy who loves to sniff new things, take short (and very slow) strolls, and then nap. He loves pets and cuddles, but has a pretty independent demeanor and is ok with just finding a bed to fall asleep. He’s so soft you’ll never want to stop petting him, though!
Bubba has met a few dogs and does well with them. He’ll sniff, but otherwise is mostly indifferent. He is also very quiet – we’ve never heard him bark. The only sounds he’s ever made are soft grumbles when he’s frustrated (such as finding himself stuck in a corner or bush).
He is good about doing his potty business outside with regular bathroom breaks – he will let you know when it’s time.
Despite being blind, Bubba loves to stroll around our house and our yard and has little difficulty doing so. In fact, once he knows he has space to move without hitting anything, he’ll gallop endlessly in circles. He bumps around a lot in our house, but at his slow pace it’s more of him getting to know his "walls. Even when we think he might’ve gotten himself stuck, he’s quick to figure out where to go. This dog is a real sweetheart, and we’re a bit sad we’ll have to bid farewell when he’s adopted!
