Oops, we did it again-we fell in love with Britney. But who can blame us? Just look at those strawberry blond locks! Britney is a bit shy at first, but she has a big heart and a spirit of adventure.
Here’s a note from her foster:
Britney was initially described to me as “initially shy but very sweet”, and that’s absolutely who she is. She’s absolutely a lap dog and probably the sort of dog you could carry around in your purse all day and she’d be super here for it. She’s been good with other dogs and even seemed excited to meet the cat (but the cat was not excited to meet her). She’s pretty good at not being too barky – when the other dogs bark at her on the street, she just keeps going, never barking back – but she LOVES karaoke, and when we play live musical instruments or sing songs she often wants to sing along!
She’s house trained and a real power-walker! She can climb steps just fine, and though we haven’t done it I suspect she could do medium-length walks just fine. She plays with toys a little but doesn’t seem to know commands or fetch, but she really likes bones. She’s extremely passive when being held and will absolutely tolerate antics like making her do little dances or putting her into costumes!
