Meet Bridger
Bridger is a beautiful black German Shepherd, about 6 years old and 75 lbs, with a gentle and peaceful soul. He came to the shelter with a fractured toe and a gunshot wound to his ear but after spending time in rescue healing, he’s been thriving in our foster home for the past 8 months.
Bridger is an easygoing guy whose needs are simple. He enjoys a daily walk but is just as happy relaxing and being near his people. He’s house and crate trained, great with our 8-year-old son and a wonderful companion to our other dogs.
Bridger is actually an easy walker but like most dogs, he can react if he’s caught off guard or another dog barks. At 70 pounds, he does require someone with a bit of strength.
He’s not overly demanding for attention, but he shows his love in his own quiet way, usually curled up near your feet waiting for a belly rub.
