Brewster may be a little older and a little slower than most of the dogs at the shelter, but at around 8 years old, he’s earned the right to take life at his own pace—and he’s perfectly content doing just that. This sweet, medium-sized guy is a bit “set in his ways” in the best possible way… he simply likes to be.
Brewster would be a wonderful match for a more laid-back home—a person or family looking for a loyal companion rather than a high-energy sidekick. He’s the kind of dog who enjoys your company without demanding constant attention, making him the perfect best friend for quiet days and easy living.
That said, Brew still enjoys his daily walks! He’s great on a leash with a steady, easy pace and rides well in the car, making him a pleasant little adventure buddy when the mood strikes.
Fresh from foster care, Brewster has already proven himself to be a fantastic home companion. He’d be happiest as your one-and-only, soaking up the comfort of a calm environment and the presence of his person. He has nice manners and knows a few commands. He might be a Cattledog mix and weighs 47 lbs.
