Bramble

#8079
Chihuahua Mix
Female
Small (6-20 lbs)
Status: Adopted

Bramble is an adorable little mixed mutt with a cute wrinkly forehead and just the right amount of gray on her face.  She kinda looks like a big dog who was shrunken down – how cute is that!  She comes to us from San Francisco Animal Care and Control where she was found as a stray.  So while we don’t know much about her past, we are so happy she is here with Muttville.  She is a very shy girl who has a soft personality.  She is looking for a very patient new family who will let her come out of her shell on her own time.  She does really enjoy being held and is the perfect lady for handling. Even during nail trims!  Bramble is a special little mutt who is so deserving of her chance at a happy life.  She does great with other dogs too. We think a quieter mature home is where she will be the most comfortable.  Bramble is ready for her next chapter.  Will it be with you?

Bramble is estimated to be 8 years young and weighs 8 lbs.

HERE’S WHAT HER FOSTER HAS TO SAY!

Bramble is a bit timid and shy at first, but that’s all very reasonable especially since she has seen so much change in the past few days. I’ve only had her for a short time but I can already tell she’s full of energy and eager to explore the neighborhood once she gets comfortable. As I was told by the wonderful staff at Muttville, Bramble loves to find a corner (any corner) and take long naps. If she’s not doing that, she’s finding a way to get into your lap or get a view of the outdoors through a window!

She doesn’t get startled easily by people walking by or loud noises that you often find in the city.

Bramble seems to be house trained which is a plus. When we go on walks, she does tend to try to reverse out of the harness so just be sure to keep an eye out for that. It almost seems like she’s go the technique down. Fortunately, it’s easy to pick her up and she is super calm when you’re holding her.

She is a great dog because you’ll always know where she is (chilling in her corner) and she doesn’t bark or whine at all. She would be a great addition to a calm quiet house where she can take her long naps!
