Bow wow wowsers, here comes Bowser! Look into his big soulful brown eyes and fall in love. This chunky potato is a quiet sweetie. He loves crawling into a lap for a good cuddle or snoozing on a warm comfy bed. Bowser will keep your lap warm on a chilly night.

Bowser has claimed his spot as King of the Couch! He sits on top of his throne of fluffy pillows and furry blankets, making sure that all his humans are properly swooning and fanning over him. If you’re looking for a snuggly cuddle bug, Bowser is ready to fill the role as long as the benefits come with belly rubs and head scratches!
Bowser came to us a bit shy but after a few days of rest and recovery, he opened up and started to show his perky side. Once he gets the lay of the land, he was able to follow me around from room to room – he is especially keen when I’m in the kitchen. His vision isn’t great but it doesn’t stop him from moving quite freely in the house. Outdoors, he’s a bit more careful, especially when there are loud distracting noises like SF construction, fire engines and buses. He’s good at using the dog stairs to get up and down from the couch but normal house stairs might be a challenge for him. He’s good with potty training and gets into a routine quickly. Bowser is still learning how to walk on a leash outdoors so he could probably benefit from a home with a backyard. That said, he seems to be doing fine in a city apartment with our resident dog. He loves dinner time but we’re working on keeping him on a healthy diet to help him shed a few pounds. He’s starting to show himself to be a lap dog, being equally comfortable on your lap or next to you on the sofa. His favourite daytime past time to is to snooze on the comfy cushions. At night, he sleeps at the end of the bed, buried under soft blankets. I’ve left him alone with my dog for a few hours at a time and he’s done well. He likes human touch but is perfectly fine to chill out by himself while I’m working.
Bowser is a sweet, handsome little guy who would thrive under the love and care of someone who’s ready for constant companion.
