He’s seemed a little quiet the first day but it didn’t take long for him to get comfortable. He has made some great progress in so many ways; he’s become quite the social butterfly when we’re out and about and wants to say hi to every human he meets (and dogs, but we don’t do that!) and doesn’t show any leash reactivity.
He loves to play both solo and with me, and has finally figured out how to pull small plush toys out of plush puzzle toys to his big amusement. He also loves to catch a toy midair and will spend a lot of time happily chomping down on a squeaky toys.
And saved the best for last… I left the house for just under two hours today and had given Boss a kong with peanut butter and chew stick and had the front of the crate half covered (and left right after he went in so he was busy with the treats and didn’t look at me walk out). I kept checking in on him through the pup-cam and he kept busy with the treats and I did not hear him cry once!! This is a such a HUGE step and I’m honestly so proud of him!
