Beagle alert! We have some newly arrived tricolor hound perfection. Boomer is handsome, friendly, and affectionate. He absolutely loves pets and will reach out with a paw to pull your hand toward him around for more. So clever! This super sweet boy can’t wait to join you for walks and explore your neighborhood. Boomer would like to be the king of his castle, soaking up all your love and attention.
HERE’S WHAT BOOMER’S FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
Boomer has great energy for his age! We go for walks about 3 times a day, one is usually an hour long then the others are shorter. He will start running sometimes and I need to jog to keep pace!
He is SUPER smart and enjoys different types of stimulation so I think a dog companion would be good for him. He sleeps a lot right now, partly because he is old but I think he is also experiencing a bit of melancholy over the loss of his last owner.
Boomer likes to go outside and sit in the sun. Being a beagle he is all nose so be prepared for lots of stops to smell the flowers on walks. You can pull him out of it but I like letting him smell everything.
He is very well house broken, likes dry food, and people food. He doesn’t like wet food or at least the brand I tried. I think once he settles in he will be playful with people but right now he’s a little shy and a bit sad.
Boomer definitely has some amazing years left and needs a family that can give him as much love as he puts out!
