Bonnet is a gentle soul who enjoys the company of dogs and humans. She likes to explore her surroundings and investigate the smells. She’s no Sherlock Holmes but she always finds her way! She’s such a SWEET dog. A real snuggle bunny. I left her for 8 hrs yesterday for work and she was A-Ok. She learned the doggie door REALLY quick and mostly slept all day. No accidents in the house. I’m so proud of her! She sleeps thru the night, right up next to me.
She DOES like shoes and pillows, but I showed her the toy box that was for her, & now she goes to it, instead of my shoes! I think she likes having another dog around. My friend’s dog was here over 4 days and 3 nights. Another female. After the initial few hours of Bonnet continually following around the other dog, they were great together! Light, verbal reprimands are all that are needed with Bonnet. She listens VERY WELL!
She did well on our walk together too! She’s learning to like her walks! And she does well on a leash, & can keep a pace better now. She likes to take her time and smell the smells, and has zero reaction to other dogs on our walks. Bonnet seems to enjoy looking at herself in the mirror!! She is also 100% potty trained.
She is a very gentle soul.
