Bluebelle is a very sweet and gentle lady. This big gal will stare right into your eyes and it’s hard to look away! She is super polite and we think she is very special. She does great with other dogs too! Bluebelle is looking for a home that will spoil her rotten and just love back as much as she loves you.. She is such a dream! We love you Bluebelle!
HERE’S WHAT HER FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
Bluebelle is a gentle giant and is sweeter than any other dog I’ve ever met (including my own)! You can tell that she’s been through a lot – she seems very ready for love.
She feels very safe when she’s in a dog bed – in fact, she’s either in a bed (hence while most of my pictures are here in bed, haha!) or eating! Not much else in between.
She doesn’t follow me from room to room, doesn’t seem to experience any separation anxiety, and hasn’t barked or whimpered or made a SINGLE sound once. Today, I saw some glimmers of excitement in her shaking ‘nub’ when she knew food was coming!
Again, she is as just sweet as can be, even with doorbells ringing or my own dog barking, she shows no sense of being bothered!
Bluebelle eats VERY well, and VERY quickly, and does her business outside like a good girl. She also is great on leash, and only stops to look and make sure I’m behind her (while on leash).
She’s also not bothered by dogs or cats that we see on walks! One thing we’ve noticed is that she is afraid of stairs so she really need to go to a single story home, ideally with a strong, younger adopter who’s able to handle her large size.
