Hippity hop, here comes Bloomers, bouncing her way into your heart!
She’s a happy happy girl; her missing leg does not hold her back one bit. Bloomers enjoys bopping around with her dog friends and dancing around for pets from her human buddies. This scrufftastically adorable gal is a blooming delight!

Bloomers may be the single sweetest dog we’ve ever met! She adores being cuddled and pet, but she’s also happy to curl up in a cozy spot by herself when you’re busy. She loves experiencing the sights and smells outside, but doesn’t need a ton of exercise. One walk around the block is enough for her (though she also loves to be carried around outside from time to time). And, even though she’s a tripod, she doesn’t let that get in her way: she can even get up and down stairs. She’s also a very quick and eager learner (we potty trained her in two days).
Bloomers is very low maintenance and would make a fantastic apartment or house dog and a great companion for a single person or family of any age. Given that she’s a tripod, she may do best in a household that doesn’t have any young kids who might be too rough with her (though she loves kids). Bloomers is a very special dog and is eager to make up for lost time in her life. She should have a devoted owner who will give her all of the love that she deserves!
She may have had a tough past, but she would never think to let that get in her way. Her joyfulness and resolution are truly special. Having Bloomers around the house has made us better and happier people. We’ve been lucky to have her so far and her forever parents are going to be even luckier!
